Francesca Giannattasio graduated from Fairfield University Phi Beta Kappa in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and minors in Educational Studies and Italian Studies.
During undergrad, Francesca was a supervised research assistant to Dr. Margaret McClure. She worked on a project investigating the impact of COVID-19 on the psychological well-being of college students. Along with her research group, Francesca presented these findings at the 2021 Eastern Psychological Association Conference. Francesca also served as an academic intern at Fairfield Preparatory High school, where she worked with a caseload of high-risk adolescents to provide academic and social-emotional support.
Along with working at the play2PREVENT lab, Francesca is a part-time master's student in Fordham University’s Mental Health Counseling program. It is her hope to one day pursue a doctorate in Counseling Psychology. In her free time, Francesca enjoys gardening, meditation, paddle boarding, and spending time with family and friends.
