Alana is a recent (2022) graduate from Oberlin College, where she obtained a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. During her time at Oberlin, Alana served as a research student in a lab focusing on the intersection of COVID-19, human emotions, and music. She also served in The Green Lab helping to design a behavior change program to encourage students at Oberlin to engage in more sustainable behaviors. In addition to serving as a research student, Alana also worked as an America Reads tutor.
In joining the play2PREVENT Lab, Alana hopes to gain further experience and education in working with adolescents who face behavioral and health challenges before determining which PhD program she will be applying to for graduate school.
In her free time, Alana enjoys cooking, taking her dog for walks, exploring the outdoors, listening to music and hanging out with friends.
